Abstract

Processing of organic waste has the largest composition in the household waste mix will be significant important role in overcoming the waste distribution crisis in Indonesia. TRIGORASHED is a waste to energy technology using a Peltier electric 12706 . module as a thermoelectric generator through the Seebeck effect (the phenomenon of the flow of current electricity in the peltier module generated by the heat difference between the two sides). To maximize the heat difference, the inside of the peltier is heated conduction by the combustion process of organic waste. Then on the outer side of the peltier thermal paste and heatsink are applied to maximize cooling convection. Furthermore, the electrical energy generated by the Peltier module is first previously stored into a lithium ion battery through a charge controller intermediary to improve reliability and power quality. Burning smoke TRIGORASHED is pre-filtered mechanically and chemically with using a wire filter and activated carbon so as to reduce the impact generated environment. The heat generated by the combustion process can also be used to cook food, produce charcoal by burning, and the residue from burning organic waste can be used as compost because it increases the content of phosphorus, calcium and potassium and increases the index Good pH for plant survival.
