Abstract

The tourism sector plays an important role for improving the economy in a region, because it is able to create job opportunities and create creative ideas in economic activities. Tourism like this in addition aims to attract tourist interest as well as to improve the economy of the surrounding community. This study was conducted to find out how powerful the attraction offered by Kape Kapi Plaosan in attracting tourists to come visit. The data used in this study is qualitative data obtained through direct survey techniques. The writing method used is using descriptive analysis techniques from data obtained through direct surveys. The results of this study is the branding conducted by Kape Kapi Plaosan enough to influence the interest of tourists to come to visit especially this attraction upholds the concept of back to nature which is increasingly lureing the attraction of tourists to come nostalgic. If Kape Kapi Plaosan continues to improve its facilities, of course the opportunity for Kape Kapi Plaosan to be one of the leading tourism objects can become a reality. Moreover, this tourist attraction has the potential to increase the economic welfare of the community in a sustainable manner which is certainly in accordance with the objectives of the eighth SDGs.
